    The Behest platform

One control plane for all your enterprise AI.

Behest sits between your applications and AI providers, giving you one place to control usage, spend, governance, model access, and routing across models, applications, teams, and workloads.

    What is the Behest platform?

Behest is the control plane for enterprise AI: one place to see every model call, attribute its cost to the right owner, enforce budgets and policy in real time, govern model access, and route workloads intelligently. AI Token FinOps is its cost-control layer.

    Four capabilities. One control plane.

Cost control, governance, endpoint visibility, and intelligent routing, with SaaS or self-hosted deployment.

    Cost-control layer

    AI Token FinOps

Attribute AI spend to the team, application, or workload that created it, enforce hard token and dollar budgets on the request path, and forecast cost before the provider invoice arrives. AI Token FinOps brings the rigor companies already apply to cloud costs down to the model-call level.

    Governance and security layer

    AI Governance

Put controls directly in the AI request path: PII scrubbing before a prompt reaches an external model, prompt-injection defense, per-tenant model allowlists that decide who can use which models, and audit trails for every call. Governance sits alongside cost control, not bolted on after the fact.

    Endpoint visibility (early access)

    Behest Guard

Behest Guard provides local visibility into AI services used directly on a developer or employee machine: coding assistants, desktop applications, and CLI tools that centralized AI infrastructure may never see. Guard is in early access and runs per machine today, with no central fleet dashboard yet.

    Optimization capability

    Cost-aware routing

Apply routing policy based on cost, model capability, or enterprise requirements. Send eligible workloads to lower-cost models where the use case allows, without rewriting application logic, so model selection follows policy instead of being hard-coded into each application.

    Deployment

    SaaS or self-hosted

Start with Behest SaaS or self-host on the Enterprise tier. Self-hosting is an option, not a requirement. When self-hosted, prompts, completions, and provider keys stay inside your VPC and under the infrastructure controls you already operate.

    Zero token markup

Bring your own provider keys, or use models through Behest at pass-through cost. Behest is a predictable software license, not a percentage of your AI spend.

    Put enterprise AI under control.

See usage, enforce budgets and policy, govern model access, and understand what your production AI workloads are costing. A 30-minute product walkthrough, no slides.
