Garen has spent 25 years building the systems that license, bill, and account for cloud usage at enterprise scale — the exact muscle Behest brings to AI. As a Senior Director at Palo Alto Networks he led Enterprise Applications and Quote-to-Cash engineering, designed a new licensing platform spanning the company's cloud and hardware products, and integrated billing across the AWS, GCP, Azure, and Oracle Cloud marketplaces. Most recently he was a VP at Forcepoint, leading the Business Transformation and Big Data organizations; earlier, at Audible Magic, he built content monetization technology whose customers included Meta, SoundCloud, and Dailymotion, and became a named inventor on a granted USPTO patent (US 11,995,609). He built Behest to do the same for AI spend: track every token, enforce every budget, and control every call.
